You might have heard about the celtic festival in vancouver and the celeberations for St.Patricks day.
Below are some videos for you.There were lots of bands and I captured one of them.The music compositions were mainly french canadian.They were simply great.Not even a single person was resting on his feet.Everyone was dancing (most of them due the great music, and others due to -3 C :)) )
It was a big fair, with all cultures having something to present.
Have a look at the videos below and then lets continue the boring text :).The first one is a local band , and the second video is from young kids, getting reward for their talent.You will see some asian faces in first video , they are Yagnesh, Ajay and myself :)
I am sure, you will the dogs below.They are the irish wolfhounds, were a symbol of nobility sometime.They are very gentle and kind, thats why I could touch him.They like eating apples too ( astonished??? )..On the other side there was a cute girly dog, in her bag.
People were also good at marketing their skirts ( kind of symbol for patricks day).Most of them, who the part of parade wore marvellous dresses.There was a game where you can win lots of prizes.It was like a fortune wheel, or like roulette and there was a prize on every sector.
It was an awesome experience, on Granville street , vancouver , 16th march.....See ya soon again...hope you enjoyed the pics and videos...
