Finally I got time to see the 2010 winter olympics venue, the whistler village.It was a journey by bus, which took 2 and half hours.The journey itself is marvellous, and you will curse yourself if you fall asleep while journey.It costs 36 dollars return ticket.
The landscape which comes across is simply awesome.You will see some islands, snow covered mountains, frozen water bodies and a feeling which cannot be put into words.
Once you reach whistler, you have lots of things to do.You can goto gondola village or the blackcomb spot by the trail (which goes high upto 6000 feet).On the top there are some ice sculptures (you can see one in the pics).They are the places for skiing, snowboarding and all kind of winter sports (snow biking etc).
